How Julion handles Google authentication, Drive snapshots, browser sessions, and account removal.

Effective 31 July 2026 ? Last updated 31 July 2026

Google user data Julion accesses

After you grant permission, Julion accesses your basic Google identity information (name, email address, profile image, and Google account identifier) and Google Drive files and folders needed to provide its snapshot features. Julion uses Drive access to create and find JULION repositories, list snapshots, upload or update snapshots, download snapshots, inspect their contents, and recover projects at your request.

How the data is used

Google user data is used only to authenticate you and provide the backup, repository, inspection, download, editing, and recovery features visible in Julion. Julion does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, build advertising profiles, or use it to train general-purpose AI models.

Storage and protection

OAuth access and refresh tokens may be stored so Julion can perform the Drive operations you request. Hosted tokens are encrypted before database storage. Browser sessions are signed and contain identity and role information rather than raw Drive tokens. Project snapshots remain in your Google Drive unless you explicitly download, update, or delete them.

Sharing and disclosure

Julion does not sell Google user data. Data may be processed by infrastructure providers strictly to operate hosting, databases, security, and network delivery, or disclosed when legally required. Julion does not permit those providers to use Google user data for their own advertising or unrelated purposes.

Retention, revocation, and deletion

Stored account information and OAuth credentials are retained while your Julion connection remains active. You can revoke Julion's Drive connection from Julion Settings or from your Google Account's third-party access controls. Revocation removes Julion's stored authorization but does not delete snapshots already in your Drive. Use the account-removal control in Julion Settings to request deletion of stored Julion account and token records.

Google API Limited Use

Julion's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Contact and changes

Privacy requests must be sent to the monitored user-support email displayed on Julion's Google OAuth consent screen. Material policy changes will be dated and published on this page.
